GT Luv At Last

Whiskey has been a dream since day 1.  Rarely does a horse come along with such a willing mind.  Her riding and training have progressed by leaps an bounds.  From RCMP Drill, to mountains and trails, to a therapy horse with Project Smiles, Whiskey excels at everything we have done with her.  She is my Heart Horse and will be at my side as long as we both shall live.

As proof and testament to Whiskey's mind and soul, she amazed us all by venturing into the realm of Mounted Shooting.  And with only a little practice she immediately took to it and competed in her first year!  There is very little this mare won't do and she constantly surprises and amazes me.  

From his first days here as a young colt, we have never worked with a horse so willing and easy to train.  Whiskey should worry about staying on as our top horse.  Deputy promises to live up to our highest expectations!

Heart horses come around once in a lifetime.  And deputy is becoming one of them.  So much try and so confident he promises to amaze and awe next year as he enters to be a AMSA Rising Star.

Fearless and confident, Trigger has taught us as much as we have taught him.  Our first horse, he is the one that started it all.  His progression is a tale of our progression.  I'm so proud at how far he has come.  Also a willing participant of Project Smiles trigger has brought so much to so many.  

Trigger is quirky and awesome.  He has carried us many places and brought smiles to more.  He and Hailey have chosen each other and as he is her main horse, his progression has skyrocketed.  Still young he will continue to amaze.

Since you can never have too many babies, and obviously Deputy needed a friend . . . we decided to add this wonderfully bred little filly to the mix.  She is a dark bay roan and promises to have a mind just as strong as Dep.

Tequilla is spicy and fun.  She has been a joy to work with and promises to bring speed and responsiveness to our future.  And hopefully not too many bumps and bruises along the way.

Ruth brough us CDS Smart Peppys Daq (Dax) in 2023 and is bred back to Junior Jag for 2024.  Her build and confirmation are as great as her papers and the foals she throws are straight and stocky!  We can't wait for next year.  Plus we LOOOOOVE roans . . . 

Salty is our newest addition.  Bred to Single Malt Whiskey for 2024 her foal promises to bring wow to our heard in both confirmation and bloodlines.  Foundation and Cow bred we are very excited to see what comes!

Sweet Natured and Fun, Bailey is our step-up lesson horse for those progressing to intermediate riding.  She's safe and loves to lope.  Fancy and Smooth she's been a great addition to our family!

As safe as the day is long this old boy just loves people and has helped every single one of our kids learn to ride.  This man has spent his life taking people up mountains and retired here on our farm.

**Hunter has since passed on and we will remember him forever**

Aptly named after Arya Stark, this mare came to us "broke" and showed us how loosely that word can be used.  Reactive and fearful we started over.  And as a testament to both trainer and horse our 16 year old daughter brought her to a place of confidence and acceptance with over a dozen rides.  Also sold to a new loving home Arya continued to excel in her life journey!

Xylia is a 9 year old Canadian Mare.  We bought her exposed and she gave us our first foal in 2020!  We thoroughly enjoyed training and riding her and she is credited with so much of our horse journey.  We have since sold her to her new forever home and still get to see her from time to time.  Thank you Xylia for all you brought us!
