Breeding Information
We are a small responsible breeder for Australian Shepherds. We are not a puppy mill, and only have dogs which are our beloved family pets. We love the size, temperament, and unique coloring that only Aussies bring. We have a large family of 6 kids and love how safe and friendly this breed is with children and other animals. Our dogs are well socialized to kids, other dogs, cats, and horses among others.
Australian Shepherds are a working breed and are therefore very intelligent and trainable. They have higher energy, especially as puppies, and love to run. They are well suited to farms and acreages, but can also be great house dogs provided they are given opportunity for daily exercise. Also being a herding breed they are very loyal and protective, but not aggressive. They are excellent family dogs and have a gentle personality. Loving, friendly, and affectionate. They are a medium sized breed, typically around 18 to 22 inches tall and 40 to 55 pounds. Their life expectancy is around 12 to 15 years.
Our dogs are on the smaller end of the spectrum for the breed, which we like. Rory is 19 inches tall and 35 pounds, and Lacey is 17 inches tall and 30 pounds. We love our pups very much and, while we are biased, think we have the best dogs ever. :) Both have unique coloring and throw beautiful puppies. We have also expanded our females and males to included larger dogs for those looking for bigger sized dogs. We are always changing who and how we breed to ensure we offer the highest breed standard and even more importantly temperament and personality. We genetic test both the males and females to ensure every puppy is as healthy as possible and free from all disorders in an Australian Shepherd panel currently available for testing. We also have a close knit group of friends, breeders, trainers, vets, and groomers. We love everything about the process, and our pets, and hope you see that too. All our puppies come micro-chipped, vet checked, de-wormed, and have their first vaccinations. And will be sent home with a puppy care kit including food, collar and leash, and a few special items like a blanket (with momma's scent) and a toy to take to their new loving home.

Rory was our first breeding female. She is a Red Merle with excellent bloodlines. Spoiled beyond belief, friendly, and energetic. We love everything about Aussies and she embodies all the qualities we love about them.
Rory is now retired from breeding, but remains as a most loved pet.

Lacey is a 3 year old Blue Merle. She is smaller than Rory, but just as full of love and energy. She came to us only a short time ago, and immediately claimed Hailey as her person. Never far from each other the inseparable pair have formed a very strong bond.
Lacy is also retired but remains as Hailey's best friend.

Genetically cleared of any carrier markers for all standard Aussie panel markers! This fall Gunner produced the most stunning puppies we have ever seen with our girls.

She promises to grow into our largest girl at the top end of the breed standard. Also with a thick full long coat and stunning merle colors. I Love Her!

Onyx is our pick of Lacey's first litter. She is sweeter than honey and, while timid, is smart as a whip. She trains faster than anyone and captured our hearts even faster. A uniquely colored Dark Merle she is special in every way. Give her one pet and you will never want to put her down.
Miniature Australian Shepherd - Blue Merle Female

Skye is our first miniature Aussie. She is as adorable as she is mischievous. Somehow against our every principle she adopted the name "Fluffy" and now we don't know her by any other name. She is as loved as all our dogs. How we sleep with 6 dogs on our bed is a mystery.

Our pick of the last litter bred and kept right here from CD-Six Farms. Maddy captured our hearts immediately from birth and we just HAD to keep her. She is as sweet as she is cute, and as bad as she is spoiled. Maddy Moo-Bear is here to stay!
