CDS Smart Peppys Daq

One look at Daquiri (Dax) and your heart should skip.  Strong, built, and straight she is one of the best looking fillies to ever land on our farm.  And with color to boot!  Of course we do love our roans.

Dax has a personality to match her striking color.  She is confident, and promises to lead any herd she is in.  She wants to be the boss, and learning she isn't will be oh so much fun.  

Amaretto is the first foal to drop on our own soil here at CD-Six and her special little heart perfectly complements that experience.  She is confident and fun.  And always gives us the unexpected.  I can't wait to see her grow.

Only those who breed horses and train young foals really understand why anyone would spend so much time to earn pennies on the hour.  Or less.  But my cup is full.  Because my heart is full.  And that is where the value lies.

Born a little bit early Hickup surprised us all.  Timid but sweet he has been growing into his own and learning about life.  He is cute and fun and promises to be an amazing little guy when he fills out.

With very cool foundational lines Hiccup promises to bring some very desireable blood lines to our program and we can't wait to see what he produces in a few years.

We are pleased to announce the birth of Courage Celtic Hadley.  Born to Xylia, this little mare captured our hearts immediately.  Not without complications, but mom and baby are doing great.  

Momma bear and baby, never far from eachother.  Hadley is turning out to be gentle and friendly.  Always the first to the fence for a scratch and some love, we can't wait to watch her grow and mature.

Tennessee (Tenny) captured our hearts in ways few horses do.  Terrified of life and untouchable she showed us how connections with animals are truly built.  She attached quickly and became one of the most respectful and kind little fillies with so very much try.

It is difficult to post about Tenny as she was tragically taken from us.  But her memory will live on in our hearts and we will always remember the unique bond that can be formed with young minds such as hers.  You changed us Tenny Two Shoes and your mark will be on our hearts forever.
